Rihanna never does things the standard way. While most of us might turn to a beanie or even some muffs to keep our ears warm as the winter temperatures carry into spring, the Fenty Beauty founder turned to a rare, ’80s-era Thierry Mugler accessory, instead.

After all, accessories have always been Rihanna’s strong suit. Who else is pulling out waterfalls of pearls, baguette-shaped crossbody bags, and Dracula Dior totes on the regular?

Still, the “Diamonds” singer might have just unveiled one of her best adornments yet.

For a day of shopping and dinner at the César restaurant in Paris, the multi-talented mogul wore a pair of spirally mink earrings stitched with pearls, from the Thierry Mugler Fall/Winter 1987 collection.

The fuzzy brown accessories paired well with Rihanna’s suede Miu Miu jacket, which came in a “light fawn” hue and featured caramel leather trim along the lapels, pocket flaps, and buttons. To complete her vintage look, Rihanna added on a pair of light-wash Agolde jeans, while slipping into some black croc-embossed ankle-strap sandal heels from Tom Ford. Later on, she also added some black aviator sunglasses.

This isn’t the first time Rihanna’s earrings have made the entire outfit. Back in January, the mother of three took a cue from Jonathan Anderson’s debut couture collection at Dior, wearing a pair of pink floral earrings straight off the runway. She has already recently stepped out in earrings that looked like blooming petals made of pearls, as well as in some large square diamonds, which she paired with her striking Alaïa separates.

When it comes to accessorizing, Rihanna is always on the mood board.
